dc.description.abstractThis research study effectively investigates the effectiveness of the remote work on the operational activity of the banking industry in Bangladesh by concentrating on the work life balance along with the cybersecurity concern. Therefore, implementing the remote working process helps to improve the flexibility along with the high employee job satisfaction. However, it has been identified that it introduces the significant communication challenge due to the cultural barrier along with the cybersecurity risks. Additionally, this research examines the transformative influence of remote work on operational activity of the banking industry in Bangladesh with the emphasis on the work life balance among staff members and significant concern in terms of the cybersecurity threats. Remote work is more prevalent, specifically, after the period of COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the remote working process, banks in Bangladesh experience opportunities and challenges in their operational activity. Hence, this study demonstrated that remote work increases the employee satisfaction rate and brings flexibility in the operational activity as well. On the other hand, it is one of the major causes for communication issues and cybersecurity threats. Also, the recommendation has been provided to assist the banks to adopt the significant changes while maintaining the operational integrity along with the data security. Hence, for conducting this study, an inductive research approach along with the descriptive research design has been considered by the researcher which assists to get the accurate picture about the research study. On a similar note the primary data collection method has been adopted with the survey questionnaire which has been constructed on the 100 participants from the banking industry of Bangladesh. It helped to get an accurate picture about the research topic.
