Human rights in the value chain: a serious affair

Abstract

Many people are still not aware of the human rights violations that happen in the corporate world, often closer to them than they think. Human trafficking and slavery exist in all regions, while discrimination is not a minor issue. It is time to invest in awareness raising and human rights prevention and protection, and not only for compliance reasons.
