Abstract

The Analytical Description of the Execution of the Equestrian Statue Built in Lisbon in Honor of D. José I, includes reflections and instructive notes for young Portuguese sculptors, as well as several illustrations showing the drawings used as models, preparatory studies, the internal structure and construction method of the monument as it was presented to the public.
