dc.description.abstractThis article analyses Islamic finance, its origins and expansion, including the Shari’ah foundations and the distinct ethical identity. For its further development to be a source of renewal, Islamic finance must remain anchored in Shari’ah juristic reasoning, prudential regulation and supervision, and evidence of real-economy contribution.
